Reboot by holding power button and pressing start button. Check to make sure Nook is charging. Cord that plugs into Nook may be loose in port. Try wiggling and pressing power button at same time.

If your tablet will not power on as it did before, then I would suggest checking your power connections. The tablet's battery may be completely discharged. So be sure it is connected to the charger and let it charge for a minimum of a 1/2 hour before trying again. If it still does not power up, then try a different power outlet, or if you have one, a different power adapter.
I would recommend calling RCA support at (800) 252- 6123 so they can suggest some troubleshooting steps you can take. If it is still under warranty and you're unable to get it working then you can send it back and get a replacement
Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. You should see some flashing. Let go of the button and watch. It should reset it's memory and come back on. If this does not work then call your tablet's customer service.
If it just hangs at the loading screen (doesn't turn itself back off automatically), you might need to do a factory reset on it. How you do that varies between each model of tablet.
