SOURCE: short on range wont work
Check for power to the primary transformer on the control. You probably blew out the controller if you find 120 volts present to the board. You may also have blown the coil on your gas valve. Be careful here!
SOURCE: Me GE Gas oven is not working, but broiler and range do ?
I am working with model JGBP26WEH1WW GE Gas range: You do not need to remove the back or even turn over, just remove the storage pan at the base of the unit and disconect the two plugs (unique plugs). You will need to splice your old conectors to your new igniter. Yes you have the correct igniter for that model.
SOURCE: JGB900 oven won't work. Range
Your problem is with the oven ignitor. Remove the racks from the oven, remove bottom shelf. Remove the metal plate covering flame spreader. The igniter should now be visible. Turn oven on and watch the glow from the igniter. It will come on but it wouldnt get too bright, so it wouldnt open the gas valve. After changing the ignitor, oven should light.

Hello
& Welcome to FixYa If
the igniter wont power up and the gas valve is fine, then the problem is with
the pressure regulator or the spark module. Please get back to me with its full model# if you have
any other questions. Kevin
