F-1 is a control failure. Sometimes cleaning the corrosion off the sensor quick plug or bypassing it entirely cures the problem. I would check the sensor and replace it before buying a oven control. Can't find a new control or afford a new one? My friend rebuilds em HERE
the f2 is telling you that the tempature is to high. It could be your control board. I personely would call a tech as its got to do with the contacts on the control board or the door lock. can be several different problems.
Hi, Your Control senses oven temperature above 915F-930F
If actual over temperature condition occurred: Look for welded relay contacts. If this happens, replace oven control (also called clock or ERC).
If no over temperature condition occurred: Look for a high resistance connection or any other cause of high resistance in the oven temperature sensor circuit. Check sensor, sensor harness and sensor harness connection at sensor and oven control. Replace sensor if found defective. Check door lock switches.
Remember: Oven control (ERC) measures resistance of sensor circuit , not actual oven temperature.
Self clean on some older models can cause some issues. F-3 is a sensor error. This could have been damaged by high heat or in some cases if the sensor is ok, the control doesn't know it's there.
Thank you. I'm going to call a repairman in the morning.
I appreciate your response.
Thank You!
