Walkman sony nw-e023f drm error - Sony Walkman NWZ-B103F MP3 Player

SOURCE: Format Error

I hade just that prob. "format error" used to display. I did this:
1. dwl sonicStage (free)
2.- in the walkman went to menu/initialize/format
then displayed a confirmation screen, I confirmed
it displayed "formating...... COMPLETE"
3.- THEN plugged into the PC and transfered songs with Sonic
and it worked!

try using the windows media player to load your music to it

You will need to format the mp3 player.
Open
Control panel
Then administrative tools
Then Computer management
In the left column click disk management, right click on the pen drive and format it.
Be sure you format it with: FAT FILE SYSTEM.
