When the car is started there is a tic, tic, sound like the signal light and a button on the remote starter has to be pressed for it to stop. After running the car and stopping, it won't start. The remote starter does things on its own - starts the car, emergency horn goes off. There is a problem with it. Can I disconnect it totally?

The start/stop 3x thing could be one of a few main issues. You need a bypass module or it needs to be reset. You need to program the tach if you're using it. Make sure with the new models(5101, 5301) it's programmed for auto transmission. The come default for manual transmissions.

try a couple of things, 1) try unplugging the anntena for the alarm for about 5 minutes. 2) remove battery from remote for 5 minutes 3) reprogram the remote
