On my nokia 610 callers can hear me but i cannot hear them

I believe the problem is the your mic. You may find that when you look at the underside of the fone it may show you bits of corrosion.
The good news is that the fault is not that big and you can easily solve this by purchasing a CRC AUTO ELECTRONIC CLEANER at your nearest hardware store. Apply a little to the corroded area and test fone again after 3 minutes.

Sounds to me like a microphone issue. Try contacting the Cellular Dr./ Cell Phone Dr. , or Cell Phone Repair.com. They both do excellent work as far as cellular phones go. I am a Satellite Phone Technician, although I have done alot of Cell phone service and repair as well. If callers cannot hear you, you may have to replace or repair the mic. Since you can hear them, the speakers are working.
