You need to download Desktop Manager and install it first, use 4.6 without Media Manager:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...93E4F3BB068C22
4.5 will work fine, 4.7 would require additional steps, and that version is unnecessary for a 4.5 OS.
You can download Media Manager, but most people don't use it. Once you've got your Mass Media Mode enabled, your SD card is just like an external drive. Anything you want to do, you can through My Computer.

Then, only put the SIM in your berry. If it's jabberwocky with just the SIM, you should be able to do a back up with out. When you connect your berry to the PC, with DM open, it will prompt you to make a back up. Simply follow the prompts, and it should go smoothly. Then you can follow this guide to hopefully return your Pearl to it's upright position:
Upgrade Guide for the 8100, step by step from A to Z

Use this OS, instead of the one in the guide:
Newest 8110 OS 4.5.0.124 (Mulit-language)

And ignore the stuff about ColorPearl/BlingBall as you have a 8110, and don't have our fancy-shmancy lights.

Note:
If your SIM is the problem, you'll need to get a replacement. If it's not the problem, then you've more than likely got some corrupt files on your media card. If you can successfully download the files off it, you'll probably see some with ".rem" after the normal extention. Delete them, and the others can be safely put back on.

this blink code is a problem with SIM card or program/operating system failure.

yes to the PC, not the phone, thought that was obvious, but most likely the SIM card has failed.

PANASONIC VIERA TX55as802b will not switch on red power/standby light blinking once every 3-4 seconds have been told its the screen and it cant be repaired can anyone confirm this or help.thanx

The manual says nothing about the power light flashing at that rate. Unless an expert tells you that's the specific indication for a failed screen, I wouldn't believe it. Most TV's will give you sound even if the display has failed.

Try resetting it by unplugging and waiting 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
If that doesn't work, most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced. Or possibly the T-con board.

If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!

If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

Acer 5733 will not turn on

No solution, mine does the same exact thing but blinks orange five times. I got an error message that said click to fix it. I did it and the computer tried to reset itself but simply died. With brick cord out...nothing happens. Same with battery same with power cord in. The battery was fine. It may have died during a forced windows update. I hope someone comes along otherwise it's "buy a mobo" and buy a battery and so on....

Toshiba satellitep205d-s7438 won't boot up

You need to be more specific and tell what happens when you plug in the power cord and press the power button. There are a number of reason why a computer will not boot, but if you tell what's going on someone can help you.

Computers don't boot for basically the following reasons, 1) the power supply is bad. That means when you plug it in you don't see any lights, and when you press the power button nothing happens, you hear no fans, no beeps, no blinking lights, no hard drive spinning, no cd drive clicking and nothing appears on the lcd screen.

2) A motherboard issue, usually when this happens you will either see blinking lights or hear beeps. Those blinking lights and beeps are codes that tell the technician what is really going on.

3) Static Buildup - try removing the battery and the power cord then Press and Hold the Power Button for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds put the power cord back in (leave the battery out) and Press the Power Button. If it boots up you had static buildup and can replace the battery, count your blessings and Thank The Lord cuz a dishonest repairman would have told you he had to replace the motherboard for $300

I cant turn on my HP520 notebook pc. when i press the power button, it blinks once, and the charging light blinks for 9times(orange light, the 8th times was green light) i tried to remove the battery and...

Alright, not sure if this will help, by my understanding is that you are saying that when you power the computer using the power supply adapter, nothing comes on? Then when you have your battery installed on, then there are lights blinking from your battery charger LED amount of times. In this case there are no promblem with your laptop and it is your power supply adapter that is damaged and will need to be replaced. It is not charging the battery. The battery is still good, but does not have enought charge to power up your system. You can find a charger on ebay for a good reasonable price compare to getting it from Hp. I hope this can help you.

My flip video camera froze.it wont turn on....

Have you tried resetting the camera? Hold down the power button and the red button simultaneously until the camera shuts off (takes about 10 seconds). Then, just press the power button again and the camera should turn back on. I had the same problem; when I pressed the red button to stop recording, the camera froze, and the red light remained on. I tried resetting it like this, and it seemed to work.
