    Replace the lamp, Whenever the lamp/bulb is going out there is an auto shut-off that kicks off the internal electronics, it is a heat issue that occurs whenever the bulb is shot.

    also there is a safety switch which should be on the side of the TV (if you are looking at the front it should be on the left side near the back)
