Epson SX 205 ink insn't low but is not printing yellow or green

After some searching (Epson doesn't make it easy), I found this documentation on how to change the cartrages for the sx200 series using the software:

Most ink jet printers have a self cleaning you can do.
The fact that you're getting shades of green usually indicate that the red is not printing properly.

Self cleaning should take care of it

Tried doing a clean both normal and deep. Nozzle clean go into print options and find the maintenance section.

Either the yellow ink cartridge is very low or the color calibration need adjusting.

Possibly it is running low on Blue ink - because colors are usually a mixture of inks - for example green is made from blue and yellow - if an ink runs low it will print the available colors or substitute the next available color.Probably if it prints green yellow - then it has no blue available to make the right shade.

Hi mariann346i am having the same problem with my EPSON RX 595 printer.
i can not print in black and white, it always prints in green.
i also notice something els, even after refilling my six cartridges
and only trying to print in black and white, my yellow ink is running out just as fast as my black so i guess they are somehow mixing together. you should check to make sure your yellow isn`t doing the same.

Hello sir; Why don't try to press "resume" key before you print.

I had the same problem with the yellow cartridge. Yellow quit printing, put in a new yellow and still would not print yellow. I had a help file, don't know where I got it, but it suggested replacing the black ink cartridge also, even though the black wasn't low yet. Replaced the black, ran a few nozzle cleans and everything worked fine. Don't know why. Try it
