Just install any sound driver, you have to install one that is made for your sound card. Best place to get the driver is the laptop manufacturer's website, like dell.com, hp.com, etc, then go to the support/download section and browse for you laptop model.

To get best quality sound you don't need software but a good audio output. The sound quality of digital audio files is excellent. your cheapest option might be a good Bluetooth speaker (30 USD), you need a USB Bluetooth card but they are dirt cheap. Most expensive option is to connect output to a stereo amplifier with professonal speakers. I have thissolution and sounds great.

Download opengl driver

High quality video playing requires a lot of graphics memory. From the computer specs that I read on Dell's site, you have up to 128 MB graphic memory. Not much. I am surprised that you even installed Windows 7 when your total memory is 1 GB. Try to live within the means (hardware capabilities) of your computer.

I can't get my DVD to play movies in my latitude d610 computer

You may need to install WinDVD , Interactual Video player, or some similar video player software. The drive will read data CD's and DVD's with Windows , but it needs video codecs (supplied with the video player software) to play DVD movies and media.

I recently had windows 7 install and can't update the drivers so i can have audio

Hi.

I see this from time to time.
Here is where I would go to get the proper audio drivers.

Realtek . com

They have both ac'97 type audio drivers, as well as hd audio drivers.

Select the type of software that you want for your system, and operating system as well.

The software has different downloads for the different operating systems, so the one for xp won't work at all for windows 7, and vice versa.

Install the one you want, then reboot.
If done properly, this will fix your audio problem completely.

Windows will now recognize your audio device and install the correct drivers and software for it.

I hope this helps you out, good luck, and, as always, feel free to give me a top rating !!

Thanks

Sound quality

Did you make the audio changes in the Windows Control panel documented in the Ez Vinyl 4.1 Setup Instructions? You must set audio format and levels to specified levels for Windows 7.

Dell latitude c640 audio problem

what u should do is
turn off your system
press and hold Fn key, power on the system, leave Fn key
computer will perform a diag
after those diags you will get 4 options you have to choose symptom TREE
you will get options look for any option which says sound or audio
if you hear sounds at that time you need to reinstall the drivers as it states that sound card is working fine
or else
provide me your system's service tag located at the bottom pannel of your system, turn it upside down you will find a bar coded sticker which has a 7 digit alphanumeric number
it will be much more easier for me to provide u a resolution
