The computer sees my flash drive as a CD drive, tells me to insert disk
If not data on the flash drive I suggest try reformatting the drive to remove any malware

Please update drivers for your CD/DVD writer from Acer website. that will solve the problem. Additionally buy a Good qyality CD/DVd lens cleaner and use it to clean the lens of the CD/DVD writer

i would go to device manager and see if there is any problems with it there and then i would uninstall it while still in device manager (dont worry you wont lose it for good ) than restart the computer and once the computer is fully running the found new hardware manager will show up on the taskbar and reinstall the drivers for you and it will tell you that your device is installed and is ready to be used please try this ok and let me know how this goes for you
