There are four water lines in the back of the refrigerator. There used to be no water going into the filter and the lines were just dangling in the back. 1 black water line is hanging from the icemaker. 2 grey water lines are hanging from the water filter. 1 thick white line is going into the water dispenser. The solenoid only has one inlet and two outlets. I know that the black line from the icemaker goes into the solenoid. I need to see the diagram to be able to hook it up correctly. I think that the refrigerator filter lines were cut at one point previously so I need to see a diagram to correctly fix and hook up the lines.

Okay this is pretty easy to find. Just trace where your water line comes into the back of the refer. You may have to remove the back panel. As you trace it in you will see where it comes to the valve. The solenoids are on the valve, one for the water (if you have water and ice in the door) and one for the ice maker. Both solenoids are on the same valve. If your ice maker runs and dumps fine and you don't have any water on the floor then it is your valve (water side) even though your ice maker is fine you may have to replace the whole valve as it is one unit.

try turning the temperature for the freezer down a little bit. it has to at least be around 17 degrees before the older ice makers start to work.
SOURCE: Water Dispenser Drips
Had the same problem after replacing over seven water valves and installing a water regulator in the water line to the refrigerator with no help. Had to reduce the water pressure to about 27 pounds the reduce most of the drips. It drips an amount about the size of a quarter and when the water gets the coldest it stops the drip, but there is always a droplet at the end of the water disperser tube.
The problem is with water stored in the refrigerator side of the box. Water come in and does not leak. After the water gets colder it expands and oozes drips from the water dispenser. It is worse with the roll of tubing behind the crisper drawer on the bottom, because there is no room for expansion in the tubing. We replaced the tubing with and older style tank and it helped some, but not completely. The solution is 1. Try to buy a refrigerator with a tank instead of the roll of tubing in the bottom of the refrigerator side. 2. Don't use the water dispenser. 3. Reroute the tubing directly to the water dispenser and bypass going into the refrigerator, the water will not be as cold. 4. Avoid those built by Whirlpool.
SOURCE: HOTPOINT SIDE BY SIDE REFRIGERATOR HSS251FMB WW,
you can just change the line
there are sveral ways to do it but you can find a water line union at sears, 1/4 inch both sides
i usually cut out the bad spot and add in what i need with the unions
