Printer does not go

After few head cleaning, ink counter running low, so ink ligh (red) flashing. Then ink counter runing out, so the light stayed on. After replacing both of ink, red light stayed on, because the compatible ink (chip) not recognized by printer. Check epson status monitor. Use original ink or refill and reset ink level counter.

You Actually May be out of red ink and there is no way to tell this but there is a way you can try and get the red in working if you go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes And right click on your printer there should be a properties button click it and there you will find a clean option do that and it should fix your problem

Epson 830u Printer Red light stays on even with new ink

I realised that I had to replace both the ink cartridges even though I only wanted to replace the black for it to work. Once I replaced both the black and colour cartridge the red light went off. Thanks

My ink ran out and I replaced both the black and color inks. The black is ok, but the color still show that it needs ink. Now my printer won't work. Can you help me?

Yes, I got it solved. I returned the first ink cartridge and got a new one, Ir works fine now, except the red is more pink than red.

Print diferent colors

Run a test print by pressing ink etc.

Do you see all 4 block lines (BK/C/Y/M) or just BK and red?

It would be helpfull if you post the test print here!

Red ink

Have you missed removing a piece of tape that covers a vent hole somewhere? This would stop the flow of that ink.

I had the same problem and I could not print read. I cleaned, put in new ink etc. Here's the kick.... I ran a nozzle check and noticed that the red and the cyan ink cartridges were reversed! I switched them and it worked fine. I don't know it that is your problem but it blew me away... such a stupid mistake, putting the ink in the wrong places.
