JTP15 Oven - Shuts down after preheating

It sounds like the module is momentarily losing power when the bake relay clicks off. Does it do the same thing when you use broil?
Post back with the complete model number and I will try to find the wiring diagram for it and we will walk through checking it.
Thanks/Mike

Whirlpool Range model RF386PXGQ2 broiler won't shut off

Hi.

If the element does not turn off, possible faults are:

Shorted temperature probe.
Test temperature probe reading impedance. If impedance is zero or lower than 0.500 Ohms, the the probe is shorted. A good probe reads about 1KOhms.

Contact at element. A contact in element wiring harness may cause the element to stay on. Do continuity test between ground and element and on wiring harness.

Defective control module.
If problem is none of the above, then it is the oven electronic control(ERC). The ERC can be tested reading voltages.

Testing must be done by a trained technician.

My range when the oven is turned on will shut off and flash f2 and continue beeping until you push cancel

not sure of make and model but if the PCB is at fault it can easily be bypassed... the oven will work fine but you will loose clock display and time functions... a new PCB module will be very expensive

My RBD275PDB14 Whirlpool double electric oven started displaying an E6 F2 error message and intermitently shutting down after a power outage. I replaced the control panel but it is still displaying the...

F2 - E6 Cancel key drive line open 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

We have a GE built in oven, model # JCKP13GP-1. The oven, after operating for an hour or so, shuts down. Sometimes the signal beep goes off when this happens but not always. Any hints on what this could...

We see a symptom like this sometimes due to a failure in the electronic clock/control. Although, by the time we get the control in for repair, it is usually shutting down after a minute or less. You could also have an intermittent temperature sensor or intermittent wiring to it or the door lock, so you should consider that first. The control board for this unit has been discontinued, but we repair them at www.fixyourboard.com.

Oven shuts off?

F34 is a cooling motor fault. May sure that the cooling motor is running. If not, then check that there is 120 volts to the motor. The motor sensor on this oven is attached to the cooling fan. It could be a simple issue of loose wire in the connector. Find the wiring going to the relay unit from the motor, pull the connector and hold a flash light on the back side of the connector. You should see almost no light. If you see mostly light, there is your loose connection.
