When your TV (EHT) High voltage is not proper run or Power supply is not strongly create voltage.
Solve: If you repair it self,You check thoroughly.Some of components may be damage in power supply.
Check diode,capacitor or high voltage power transistor,any kinds of fuse.

The flashing indicator is telling you the fault. Give the number of flashes to the LG service department and they can help you with your issue. It will likely need service.

Unplug it for about an hour to let it reset itself, if it still does not work, then you will have to do more in-depth troubleshooting.
It is flashing because it may have bad power supply or it is in safety shutdown/restart mode due to shorted circuits some where. Inspect the caps in the power supply first.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Does the tv make a clicking noise like its trying to turn on before the tv goes into standby and the LED starts flashing? I suspect this is due to a shorted component, most likely to be in the 5V(switching) line and just want to be a bit certain before we start testing the power supply.

Tries tv unplug,replug it back like about an hour later.See,if the tv will resetting self and working again.Not.The tv power supply board it is the causes and the problems.That the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement.
