E5 - The ink cartridges are not installed, or a non-supported ink cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly.

How do i scan a pic? Canon Pixma MP160
  1. Turn on your Canon Pixma MP160
  2. Click on start
  3. Click on My Computer
  4. Scroll down and look for the icon Canon Pixma MP160
  5. Double click the Canon Pixma MP160 icon
  6. A dialog box will appear choose one and click ok.
  7. Your Canon Pixma MP160 will now start scanning.
