Had the same problem and two audio repair techs told me that it was a matter of 'wear and tear' and would be more economical to replace the unit. Wasn't in a position to do that so modified a pair of tweezers by gluing rubber pads on the heads and gently pulled the disc out. Not the best work-through but it sufficed until I sold the car. The cushioned tweezers didn't damage the discs.
