Control panel not lighting up and oven not working.

Possible bad door switch or some ovens have a switch on the control panel for the interior light that could be bad.

Must check the the voltage of 240 coming in to the oven sometime there is 120 volts which will light up the control panel but not enough to turn on the heat elements also check the wiring diagram some times there are cut off switches between the control panel and heat elements those can be bad too!

Remove the panel on the top of the back of the stove - check for grease residue on connectors plugged into circuit board - clean connectors and circuit board with electrical contact cleaner - reassemble and test for correct operation. The oven vent at the rear of stove sometimes leaks grease filled vapors into the area of the control circuit board.causing bad or intermittent electrical connections to oven temp sensors and front controls on the oven.

If` it is intermittent, it could be bad connection, or the control switch is faulty, if you can gain access to the control panel, check for bad or burnt connections, unlikely to be board, but not unknown for them to go faulty.

bad control panel.. all power is routed through the control panel.. if your having a problem like that i would replace the control..

If the oven is working but the control does not light up then you will have to replace the control.  If the oven doesn't work then will have to check and see if you have power to the control.  If power is there then the control is bad.

try checking control panel connections they might be dirty if not then board is proberly bad
