Plunger stuck
This happens quite a bit with nailers. There are is an easy method to attempt repair and more difficult procedure. There is some hammering involved, so to protect the head you must remove it and the cylinder and place the gun on a piece of wood with noise up. I use a piece of allen wrench as a punch (any good hard steel that just fits in the nose will do )and a large hammer. You must be very carefull about pieces of metal flying as you hammer metal on metal. My hammer is made of copper. Several swift hammer blows will free the driver. The quick and easy way is to hammer without removing the head. Most stuck nails are removed this way in the field due to time involved in taking the gun apart. Either way you choose, there is a chance of breaking something. Good luck and be carefull.
