I have the exact same problem, email me if you got your's fixed and how it was. I'm also looking for a solution, that I don't have to pay some random fee on this site for.

SOURCE: Diaphragm problem

Yes it can be replaced and your system will be as good as new afterwards.

To get an idea of the work involved: http://www.audiofriends.nl/pdf/refoaming.pdf

There are several companies selling these so called surrounds. There are foam and rubber surrounds. Stick to the same material as you may otherwise significantly alter your system's sound. Just google "speaker repair" or "speaker surrounds" and you will find several. You can ask them to repair your speakers (which may be fairly expensive) or you can order the surrounds and glue (you can not just use any glue) and do it yourself.

I have done such repairs a few times myself and it is absolutely not difficult.

Good luck.

SOURCE: capacitance touch problem on JBL Creature II White

Thanks to cagamba for his discovery. I thought for a while I had bought a lemon. Touch the audio plug outlet at the back of the computer with one hand and touch the volume control with the other hand. It really works.

SOURCE: I have a JBL Creature

I thought my speakers had blown out and they were fixed by just pushing on the black circle inside. The speaker had come loose from the housing- possibly when they fell down or something. Try that before you give up all hope.

How many input voltage do i need for my jbl creature ii.is it ac or dc?

JBL Creature needs a 18V, 3.5 Amp, AC power supply. JBL original power supply model is TA66180350-B2 made in China. In put power is 220-240V, 50 Hz-0.5 Amps. The AC supply is made to a dual rail supply inside the creature using a diode bridge.

My Creature II speakers still work however the big subwoffer isnt working. I think it is probably just the cord but is there a way I can be sure

Which cord are you thinking of? If you look at the subwoofer there are 4 cords. One to the left tweeter, one to the right tweeter, one to the computer and one to the power.
  1. As both the tweeters are woring then those 2 cords are OK.
  2. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the computer is OK.
  3. As both tweeters are working then the cord to the power is OK.
  4. Therefore it is not 'just the cord.'
What I would suggest is checking that the sub has not been turned down - one of the silver posts on the sub. If that is not the case and you cannot turn the sub volume up then I suggest that you replace the system. They probably cost more to repair than to buy new.

Power Cord for Creature II

I looked and the only thing I could come up with is to e-mail JBL and order a new one. Radio shack, Best Buy, or Futurehsop might be able to help but you have to call them with the model number or go to the store and check it out. Here's the link to JBL if you want to order a new one.

Sorry, wish I had a better answer but there isn't much out there for this.
