I have a KitchenAid KCM1402QG coffee maker and even right after running it through a cleaning cycle, the cleaning indicator comes on. Why so often?

Either the scale has not been removed or the sensing circuit has failed.

From Kitchenaid, signs a coffee maker needs cleaned;

1, Cleaning indicator light comes on (select models)
2. Excessive brew times
3. Gurgling or other unusual noises during the brew cycle.

So ignoring first condition, does it exhibit either of the remaining two?

If yes, then likely remaining scale. Try letting descaling agent set, up to max period stated by mfg, then start clean cycle.

If no, possible sense failure.

Replacement Carafe for KCM300?

Hello, Diana -

I hope I am correct in thinking yours is a Kitchen Aid model of coffee makers.

If you reside in the USA and if you have not already contacted the KitchenAid company, then this is the the web page with KitchenAid contact information:
https://www.kitchenaid.com/service-and-support.html

You can ask about where to purchase a replacement carafe for your model of KitchenAid coffee maker.

Best wishes.

Kitchenaid coffee maker has sat for a long time with no use!

Generally, I'd start with one part white vinegar to three or four parts water. You may need to run it throught the machine a few times if it's badly blocked

Need manual for pro 12 kitchenaid coffee maker.

Manuals and guides may be located online at KITCHENAID.COM.

In the upper-right hand corner of the site, click on CUSTOMER CARE and then click on LOCATE MANUALS AND GUIDES.

It will then ask you for your model number.

For an espresso maker, the model number is located on a silver sticker behind the water reservoir. For a coffee maker, the model number is located on a silver sticker underneath the machine.

On the website, type in your model number exactly as it appears on this sticker and click GO.

This will then bring up the literature listing for your particular unit. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the files.

Also, Kitchenaid Customer Service will send you a physical copy of an instruction manual at no charge if you choose to call them. Their toll-free telephone number is:

1.800.541.6390.

I have an err4 on my kitchenaid coffee pot. I have unplugged it several times and pushed each button each time but it keeps popping up with the error. It turns on every time I plug it back in before the...

Had the same problem after cleaning. ERR4 is the result of moisture in the electronics. FIRST UNPLUG COFFEE MAKER. Get a long philips screwdriver and remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the coffee maker. Pull the bottom off and carefully unclip the front panel. The circuit card is simply clipped in so it removes nicely by unclipping with your fingers. Now take a hair dryer and dry out the circuit card. Carefully plug the maker back in and verify that the LED nolonger reads ERR4. Reassemble and your back in business!
