SOURCE: juki ddl-227 industrial machine

Before all else. Turn off machine!
(1) break screws on the hook loose.
(2) tighten one back up very skightly, one you can reach when the needle bar is at its lowest position.
(3) lower needle bar to its lowest position.
(4) loosen the screw just tightened.
(5) position the tip of the hook behind the needle hole. the tip should be as close to the needle hole as possible without actually touching the needle
(6) tighten screws
(7) slowly hand turn the machine (depress the foot pedal to disengage clutch brake on motor) several revolutions to make sure the needle doesn't hit anything on the hook.
(8) if it passes this test, try on a scrap of fabric

SOURCE: Juki TL-98QE thread comes out of needle, won't pull up bobbin

It can be many things but first make sure the needle is in correctly, follow the manual to be sure, if it still does not pick up the bobbin thread you may want to bring it to a repairman to see if it is out of timing.

SOURCE: i have a juki industrial machine when i try to

so many different versions to disengage the drive, but all are located on the right hand side of the machine on the part that allows you to rotate the sewing mechanism by hand. there is likely a button or that part will pull outwards

Testimonial: "thank you so much there is not a button so it must pull out i will try it tomorrow"

Needle not catching the bottom thread juki DDL5530

Make sure needle is not bent and fully inserted. Top thread is not binding (over tension) or snagging on the spool.

This has a transparent bobbin cover? If yes manually advance machine with the hand wheel, keep an eye on the bobbin case, do you see the bobbin case (hook) rotate?

As the needle starts upward, there should be a loop of top thread form. The bobbin case hook captures this loop and wraps it around the bobbin case.

Dear all. I have Juki HZL 7800 machine in this the bobbin thread is not pick up. Can any one tech me home to open the bobbin case holder and adjust to pick up the thread. I learned if we open the holder...

Try searching for Juki HZL 7800 user manual
may also try searching in YouTube, they usually have bobbin removal videos there
i just fixed my machine with same problem, the distance between niddle and bobbin was out of adjustment. Try searching for service manual for your machine, they have all adjustment procedures there.
I am not sire what the specs are for Yours, mine is Janome.
there is three factors that may cause your problem.
1-niddle tip either too high or too low for bobbin hook to pick up
2- niddle tip is too far from bobbin
3- bobbin timing is out of adjustment
I set all three according my service manual it runns better than new
good luck!

My Juki 2200 sit down long arm is not grabbing the bobbin thread..help!

Did you get this fixed?
Most common problems:
1. You broke a needle and the hole in your needle plate now has grooves cut into the edges of the hole that are grabbing your upper thread and holding it too long for the hook to grab it. Take your needle plate off and examine it closely with a magnifying glass. If there are grooves, purchase some emery cord and run it back and forth until the edges are smooth or buy a replacement plate.
2. You broke a needle and you have rough edges on your hook. Lean your machine back and examine the hook with a light. If there are rough spots on the edge of your hook, you will need to smooth them out with emery cloth.
3. You have either the wrong size needle or you have the needle in backwards or not perfectly straight and the hook can't pick it up each time.
4. Have you changed to pre-wound bobbins? They may not be large enough for your bobbin case. If you have regular bobbins, check to make sure that the bobbins don't have burrs on the edge of the bobbins. If they do, throw them away and buy new bobbins. Sometimes I get some bobbins that are not quite round. Weird but true. Examine them.
Good Luck.

replacing the bobbin carrier has upset the needle/hook timing

Looper arm does not clamp over bobbin case all the time

If the arm does not clamp over the bobbin case, it is probably because the bobbin case is not securely in its place (make sure you are using the correct bobbin and it is loaded into the bobbin case correctly). Be sure that the bobbin case is inserted correctly and securely latched.

If problems continue, may want to consult a repair service.

Why is my juki sewing machine sewing loose bottom stitches?

How thoroughly have you cleaned out the hook race area? Take a clean piece of cloth, and wipe it out. Look for fluff, bits of thread, etc.... You might need to tighten up your bobbin casing. If there's a screw there, get a flat edge screwdriver and very gently tighten it a little bit, then try sewing a scrap of lamb. You also may need to interface your lamb, so it's more stable.
List the model number of your machine, so anyone replying will know exactly what you're dealing with.
