There 's fan in the back of the freezer which blows cold air up over the coils in to the fridge through channel at the back of the fridge. Cold air won't flow if the fan doesn't work, or the coils are frosted up restricting the air flow, you can see this by removing the fan cover in the freezer. Un plug fridge until frost is gone. Next there is a vent in the back of the fridge to bring in the cold and you should feel cool air blowing ,if not there is a flapper controlled by a timer motor could be closed, This should narrow down your problemThere 's fan in the back of the freezer which blows cold air up over the coils in to the fridge through channel at the back of the fridge. There has to be something restricting the air flow to the fridge. If the fan is running blowing cold air into the freezer, then it should be cooling the fridge too. Empty out the fridge and freezer and use a blow drier to blow hot air into the duct work. There could be an ice blockage not visible in the duct work.
Empty fridge and if possible put steam down vent behind the cover in the freezer section. or hot water. it will com out in the fridge so be carefull. this unblocks the aif feed from the freezer to the fridge section. also make sure the fan is working.
the fridge will soon stop to! all cooling goe to the freezer first! look to see if there is frost in back of the freezer if not it might be low on charge

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through
it.There is a flap you adjust with the
fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the
fridge temp
If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer
are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of
cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.
It has seperate cooling circuits as you describe the problem can be a leak of refrigerant in the freezer circuit.if there is no heating up in the freezer condensing coil.It has to be check for the leakage.
