Black and decker cordless drill EPC 188 slows down and speeds up when used

EPC188 18v cordless drill When using the drill it slows down then speeds up then slows down.

extend the handle straight and all will be reavealed! Just in front of the triger inside the piviot point.

I don't know if I would try this or not. there could be a difference in the amps and usually a charger is designed to shut off or go to trickle when the battery is fully charged.

I'd put penetrating oil in it and tap the chuck with a plastic hammer. That should free it up.

You can contact a Dewalt Service Center to see if they have the diagram. Black and Decker is Dewalts lower priced line. A quick search on their website did not reveal anything. They may not have the diagram. As far as I know there are no parts available for the chargers so you may have a hard time locating the diagram. Try giving Dewalt a call.

My Black and Decker Drill and Hand Saw have brand new battery pack and brand new charger to BE SURE battery is fully charged but still don't work
it is probably the brushes on the motors are wore out or stuck and not making contact. pretty much junk unless you feel confident enough to attempt repair.

Black and decker drill runs slow
Its much more likely that your batteries are not charging up properly. Ni-CD batteries suffer from 'memory effect' and can appear fully charged when only 70% charged. Also they lose charge when being stored. Do not short them out to discharge them! Wait until the drill complains that they are flat and then recharge them rather than when they first start to slow down. Do not let become completely flat (less than 1 volt).

Contact Black and Decker (Dewalt) at 800-235-2000-you should be able to get number for an authorized repair center that can supply it for you-but it may be cheaper to replace the whole thing.

Drill does not respond to trigger speed control. Seems to run fast and then slightly faster with no fine control.
Hello, if the adjustment for the speed controle is winding in and out corectly you shpuld notice that the triger goes in and out as you turn the dial. If it doing this and the drill is not responding properly then you have one of two problems. An internal wire has come off or loose or the switch is broken. I hope this is useful.

Charger not charging have 2 new chargers neither 1 will work for black& decker 18 volt cordless
You should probably contact Customer Service regarding this. I'd say it's a problem with the batteries rather than the chargers considering this looks like a recent EPC model - 1800 444 224
