When i connect to yahoo messenger one dialoge box is open...and shown that yahoo messenger cant open............!!!

i know my password is correct.......... but why i cant open my yahoo messenger??

1. Clear your cache memory, by deleting all temporary internet files and cookies2. Check your firewall program3.Check your internet options under tools and go to the privacy tab and check cookies. Make sure the level is low.4. Make sure you may have entered your ID and/or password correct. By entering wrong user id password t you will not be able to sign on again for 12 hours.5. if your not using proxy then check this setting

·Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog

·At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server
checkbox, if this is checked, UNCHECK it.

7.Yahoo server maybe down just for some seconds. Just have patient and re login and or try logging using another account

ok, in my case i remembered I tried using a proxy on internet explorer and forgot to put it off, so the proxy connection was still on even though the proxy was dead.
It now a proven fact to me that internet explore settings are linked to yahoo mess! so make sure your internet explorer is working ok without proxy:
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
