Can't figure out how to change from pm to am manual doesn"t address this

12h time vs 24 hour time, after 12:00 PM time then goes to 13:00 = 1:00 PM

Take the big number and -12 to it

15:00 —-> 15 - 12 = 3:00 PM
22:00 —>. 22-12 = 10 PM

Which microwave model do you have? Most of the Whirlpool microwaves that I know only have a 12-hour clock. They do not indicate AM or PM. To set the ones that I know, press Clock. Type in the current time in a 12-hour format. Press Clock again. The only model that I find quickly that has an AM/PM option is the GH7208XR. On that model, start with the main menu displayed on the LCD screen. Touch Settings and Info. Next press Clock. Then press Adjust Time. Follow the instructions to set the time and the AM/PM setting. I'll assume you use the +/- buttons. To hide the clock, get to the Clock Screen. Press Adjust Time and Hide Clock to return to the main menu. I hope this helps. Please add a comment with the model number for a more accurate information on setting the clock. The model number should be inside the microwave on the rim. Usually it's on the bottom of the door frame near the door hinge.

Push clock button and press the Up/down buttons to change time to pm.

am/pm may not be a separate control. Try setting the hours 12 hours ahead to change from am to pm.

If the model number you listed this question under is correct, you can the time by following these steps:

1. Press CLOCK

2. Enter time by pressing the numbers on the keypad.

3. Select AM or PM by pressing the AM/PM button.

4. Then, press START or CLOCK.

press Reset, then enter in the time of day (e.g. 0807 for 8:07 am or pm doesn't matter), then press Clock button twice. hope this helps.

Depending on the brand, if you push the clock button more than once it changes from am to pm to military time (24 hour) to am, to pm, etc.
