P5mt-s video need video driver

I can`t seems to find the core 2 cpu on the list.

This means that the cpu is not supported.

By selecting your windows system.
Open the manual folder and click on global for download.
Adobe reader, is needed to read the content.

If you need Video drivers, be specific which VGA drivers are needed.
There are many different video drivers chipsets eg nVidia, ATI, SIS, VIA, etc...... and what Operating System(OS) you are using. Different OS need different drivers too.

Contact ASUS regarding their motherboard warranty, you may be able to have this part replaced.

You don't need Video drivers to play your media files, you need codec plug-ins to play your media formats with your installed media players.

Alternatively you can install the MpcStar player from : www.mpcstar.com/ which plays most of the media formats.

If you cannot change the video settings ie. the screen resolution and the number of colors, then most likely problem is the video driver was not installed or the wrong video driver was installed.
If you have lost the driver CD for the video card then :-
Have a look at the video card, you need its make and model to download the XP or Vista video driver from the video card manufacturer's WEB site, and then install this video driver.

I'd suggest deleting the existing video driver and then reinstall.

Not sure on the Video but uninstall the soundmax and use realtek AC-97 driver available at

First you need to find out make and model of your video adapter, and then you post back here driver request.
If you have a laptop post laptop model, for example "I need video drivers for IBM 600E".
If you have a desktop you need to find out what video adapter you have. Sometimes to do this you have to look inside the computer for number printed on video adapter board or on motherboard if video is integrated (FCC model number).

Here come more ways to find out video model, the only one that always work is reading the FCC model number from inside the computer, (methosd 6 in the document.

I need to download from a digital video camera (sony dcr trv285e) to a laptop. i have lost all drivers and softwares. i manage to find the usb driver but i cannot transfer the video to my laptop.Is there a software that i need?
