    we need the manual for the Kenmore progressive canister vacuum too. We bought it about 3-4 weeks ago and are thinking that it didn't come with one. Now we need to clean the roller and it says refer to the instructions to find out how to do it.

    The vacuum has a new bag and the cleaner blows out dust and dirt instead of picking it up. Also the red light remains on to check the bag and hose, even though a new bag was installed.

Yes, Sears do sell the owner's manual for your vacuum. Most of the time, the owner's manual would have to be ordered. Depending on the Sears Parts and Service center, you may get the owner's manual free of charge since it did not come with the unit like it's supposed to.

I don't have one either, but the manuals for this are for sale from Sears in their parts department. Just look up the parts for your machine on their site, and the book is there.

You can check for the manual at:

I would suggest checking the hoses for clogs. Especially the hose right after the carpet brushes. Don't forget to clean off your brush. Hope this helps.
