New problem with tv and Sony RMT-V202 Remote Control

Now my problem is i have an AWOL or AVOL tv and the Sony RMT-V202 Remote Control. i looked on the list of tv codes i had and didnt find a code for the tv to program it to the remote. any suggestions? [email protected]

    Yes, first off I cant tell what type of tv it is AVOL or AWOL??? Plus i bought a universal remote that doesnt have a code for either name. I am still looking for a remote that will support my tv and a code for the remote.So frusterating!!

    Same exact thing, I just got a pioneer home theater system and I wanted to use the same remote to control the TV because the TV remote doesn't work anymore.

Samsung makes AVOL you may want to try there codes. Hope this helps.

The code for AVOL or type in AVL for a search it shows up as an APEX brand. Need to use the Apex code. 0156, 0748, 0765 0767, 0879. 0748 worked for me

If you still have warranty, use it while you have chance. It seems your tv has an issue with lcd pannel. There is a small chance that one of lcd panel cables disconnected from mainboard. If your lcd pannel has an issue (which is the most expensive part between replacement parts of a tv) i suggest you to buy a new tv instead of replacing tv pannel.

the codes are 051     060      069      
1 turn on dvd
2 press and hold s button
3 whilst holding s button press and release power button
4release set button
5 press dvd on controll
6 using key pad key in the 3 digit code
7 press enter button
8 point remote at dvd and try power button
9 if nothing work enter next code
if this still dont solve your problem post back and i will tell you how to do this manually hope this is some help
