Maytage Dependable Care washing machine will not operate. Lid switches, timer check out. Fuse is good. Machine is getting power. Machine will not fill, agitate, or spin. Timer does not advance.

Sounds like the timer motor is fried. Remove it, connect it to a 110/120 volt power source and listen to it. If you can hear it running, then that's cool. Next, move the selector switch to the next mode manually and see of your machine responds to that. If it does, then the motor for the timer needs to be replaced, it probably lacks the torque needed to move the selector switch around.

Remote control not responding batteries good

You can simple test your remote control if you have a digital camera. Usually the camera has photo (picture) mode and video (movie) mode. Switch it it to video mode and see on the screen if your remote control flashing when you press buttons.

I think i put my camera in movie mode and now cannot take any pictures, how do i reset my camera to take pictures

Hi,

All you need to do is rotate the shooting mode selector dial on top of the camera to an appropriate shooting mode.

Try putting it on the Green color "Auto" and you will be good to go!

If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.

I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating for this free solution.

Cant get it off movie mode whats wrong

You can open the case (take the six small screws out two on the bottom and two on each side) Both the front and back will come off you may have to work it a little to get them apart. Look at the back and you will see a three position switch if it is to the far right move the switch to the center position and turn the camera on see if you are out of movie mode if you are verify that the plastic switch cover on the back of the case is not broken (it may just have been misaligned. If after moving the switch and you are still in movie mode you have a component problem and you will most likely need to send it in or buy a new camera. Hope this helped

Only about half the modes work on mode selector dial

Sounds to me like the internal contacts aren't working correctly. Let your local camera store take a look. Hope it's under warranty.

A630 clicks and wont take picture. Stays in preview mode.

Do you mean you are expecting it to show the photo that you just took for a few seconds before it goes back to preview mode? There's a menu setting which I think is called "Picture Review" and you can set it for something like 0, 2 seconds, 5 seconds, something like that.

I hope that was it.

SCN Mode on Canon A560

It confused me too. Just go to SCN and hit the function.Set button (the little round button). It brings up a menu and you can switch left or right with the menu controls.

A345 stuck in movie mode

you need to open the camera caseing a small amount. As you put the case back make sure the switch is in the movie position so it will engage the switch inside on the circuit board. Looks like the switch has been knocked off the control inside. If you have been moveing the switch back and forward you may have broken it.
