Your lamp cover is not installed. That is what causes the LED to light amber. Remove and re-seat the lamp cover door. There is a switch it hits to tell the TV the door is shut. This is to protect you from electrocution.
yellow steady light is overheating. you have a stuck fan or its all clogged with dust. The only way to fix it is to find what is causing it to overheat or prevent the fan from spinning. It is not lamp related unless you bought a lamp that does not have an Osram bulb inside.
The lamp needs to be replaced. It's on the back and easy to do. I replaced mine about 3 months ago and it was about $182.00. Hope this works, I know it's hard to fork out that kind of money at this time but once you do the TV will be as good as new. Take care
Did you unplug the set and see the "new bulb replaced?" screen come up when you plugged it back in? You could try resetting the TV. There's a little access hole you put a toothpick into. Yellow (solid) light means lamp time is over 4000 hrs. This sound's like the lamp life counter needs to be reset.
willshar2, by the way... nice tv, your tv chassis is a v33 chassis try the lamp sensor pt#299p313010a it's on the lamp housing, but again i wish you would let your favorite tv guy do the work.
