Plumbing pipe size can be misleading due to the fact the pipe diameter is based on outer diameter and the inner diameter varies with wall thickness. To determine standard pipe diameter you measure the outer diameter and subtract 1/8".
The typical 1/2 inch pipe has an outer diameter of 5/8" and like wise a a 1/4" inner diameter pipe is a 3/8". So likely the typical faucet connector is correct. But you may have something unusual so FYI.

Check that the wire loom has not been broken or Corroded in the door seal housing. This is the loom between the car and the car door normally looks like a flexi pipe about 1.5 inch thick. Also check with a volt meter that you are getting power to both the switch and to the regulator. And then check you have power to the regulator once the switch has been activated. If you find power is missing to any of these it's just a matter of tracing the wires and find the problem one. Normally it comed back to the flexi pipe. Once found repair by soldering and heat shrink. Hope this helps
Missing problem requires to check the following systems and components:
1. Fuel system. (Fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel injectors).
2. Ignition system. (Spark plugs, spark plug cords or wires, ignition coil, distributor (cars with distributor type ignition system, rotor, distributor cap, ignition amplifier), Coils On Plugs (COP) and correct sequence of the spark plug wires and or Igniter connectors.
3. Air leakage in the intake manifold.
4. Detached vacuum hose.
5. PCV Valve.
6. Servo brake booster pipe or diaphragm.
7. Valve clearance.
8. Cylinder compression.
9. Contaminated fuel.
10 . ECM.
One before the catalytic converter screws directly into the exhaust pipe, the other is located after the catalytic converter it also screws directly into the exhaust pipe. Sometimes the one before the cat. converter is a pain to get out depending on exactly where it's located on the exhaust pipe. You can't miss it, they each have a wire coming out of them connecting to a connector to the vehicle wiring system. Its usually the saying if One goes out so will the other. Might as well replace them both, and use some Anti Seeze on the new ones so they aren't so hard to get out if you have to do it again later in years. Just make sure you don't get any of the anti seeze on anything else but the threads you screw into the exhaust pipes. Good luck.
Hi,
PE error code means there is an pressure sensor error in your machine .
You need to check pressure it will be giving incorrect indication .
Pressure switch is faulty you need to change it .
Procedure for changing it is :
Power off the machine remove backcover and top cover.
The pressure switch is a round item about 3 inchesacross with several wires and a thin rubber pipe attached.
Hi, All air-con systems have stardard size air-con pipe connections.1 small 1large so you can`t connect to the wrong side, the connector usually has a ring you have to pull back to then push onto the pipe connection that when connected keeps the connection tight ,to disconnect it is the reverse of fitting BE carefully and do not connect or disconnect with engine running wear goggles and gloves and do not breath any escaped gas,if your not confident give it to an expert !!.
Check with your local library to see if they have a copy of Haynes or Chilton service manuals.
I think that missing part was a mount for an oxygen sensor but am not certain.
