I have a Nikon N65 and an AF Nikkor lens on it. The lens fell off some time ago, and now it does not lock in place.

The most likely culprit is a broken mount on the lens. Some Nikkor lenses have a plastic mount whose bayonet blades can break off when the camera is subjected to a shock. Since you neglected to specify the lens I don't know if this is the case with yours.

If you have access to another lens, try it. If that one stays on then the problem is with your lens. If that one doesn't stay on then the problem is most likely the mount on the camera itself, which is a more serious problem (unless the mounts on both lenses are broken).

I have a NIKON DX AF-5 Snikkor 18-105mm lens 13'5-5'6 GED lens That will come off the camera after being attached. Another lens AF-S Nikkor 70-300mm stays on. I dropped camera from 2 ft...

It seems like you've got a broken lens mount on the 18-105mm. Take a look at the backs of the two lenses. You should see the bayonet mount with three flanges. If one or more of the flanges on the 18-105mm are broken then the lens won't stay on.

If you feel up to doing the replacement yourself, you can order the part from

Otherwise have a trained technician replace the mount.

HELP APERTURE PROBLEM! When I attach any lens to the Nikon FM10

This is normal. the lens stay at the largest opening so you can see to focus, then the mechanics will close to the setting when the exposure is made. This is part of the reflex in single lens reflex (SLR). This part staying open when you focus keeps lyou from having to open the aperture to focus and then close it to the correct setting to shoot the picture.

Dropped camera-lens stays open

The only way to fix a lens error is to send into casio and have it fixed. Call them at 800-706-2534 option 2 and tell them you have a lens error. They will tell u how to go about sending it in for repair.

The lens is stuck

my daughter sat on ours while it was on and the lens wouldn't retract. I tried the banging repair suggested for a stuck lens. After quite a few tries, it got the lens to retract when turned off but it wouldn't stay out when on, so i grabbed the lens and gently pulled it all the way out while it was on and it worked! (phew!)
