OE error My LG Tromm front loader has an OE error message and isn't spinning. First received the message during a full load of laundry. Had to drain the water from the hose at the bottom and finally got it unlocked to get my clothes out. Cleaned out the filter and then decided to try again running the rinse and spin cycle. It did spin and filled with water but a couple minutes into the cycle I got the OE message again. Any thoughts

SOURCE: spinning cycle

Keeping in mind that the soap & bleach gets dispensed into your wash on the second to last rinse cycle and that most all rinse cycles are in cold water. Is your cold water valve screen plugged causing your washer to rinse poorly? Are you using the HE detergent? If not maybe the washer is sudsing up to much and having a hard time rinsing all the suds and bleach out and leaving the clothes soapy.

Fill the washer up with no clothes in it on a cold/cold wash setting does it take a long time to fill the washer up? Also when it is full and agitating is there suds in the washer?

Last suggestion is if the drain is hose is a lot higher than the top of the washer it might have a hard time draining out all of the soap water before the next load

SOURCE: Machine won't spin and rinse and stops with an "OE" message.

it could be as simple as a wire has come off the pump during transport or the pump was about to die.
check if wires have come off pump and if ok then with a little water in the machine see if you can blow some air back down the drain hose to see if there is a blockage in the hose or the pump if there is you will have to remove the hoses from the pump and clear the obstructions

OE is normally down to blocked drain pipes, mcalpine (connection under the sink) or a blocked front filter. empty the machine and unscrew the filter behind the flap at the bottom right hand side, check for any obstructions, icoins, hair grips etc are normally blocking here

I have a problem with my LG Tromm front load washer. It will wash seemingly normally up to the point it gets to the spin cycle. Then a motor comes on and the machine does not spin or drain. The display...

The LG error code OE simply means "the pump is blocked". Presumably the water isn't being emptied properly. As with all error codes it is possible that there is a cause other than the exact description in the error code explanation but basically this error means as far as the washing machine is concerned it thinks the water isn't pumping out. A pump, or filter blockage is the most common cause but it could be caused by other faults such as a faulty pump, or even a blockage in the drain hose or somewhere else in the system etc.

LG themselves have some information on this error code..
