Iam looking for a wiring diagram for a 1964 40 horse evinrude outboard motor, model number 40453

get the serial number then go google and type in -- serial numbers of evinrude outboard motors-- and select a site where you enter your serial number
or you take your serial number to an evinrude/ johnson outboard dealer and have them look it up

I have never seen anyone answer these questions.if you looking for a condenser they are all the same.eg a 1965 40hp condenser will fit a 1955 20hp

3014 is a three horse 1955 Evinrude Lightwin. 16/1 fuel oil mix, points set at 0.020 and the NGK B6S plugs set at 0.030". 80-90W marine grade gear oil is used in the gearcase. Nice motors!

Hi there, You can find all parts diagrams for Evinrude engines here: http://epc.brp.com Just ignore the email entry part and go straight to the database. They are listed by Brand, then year, then HP size. I checked for you and it has the 1977 85HP models listed there. Then just find the right subsection of the outboard and it will bring up exploded diagrams for your viewing!
