SETTING DOES NOT SAVE - Onkyo TX-DS575 Receiver

The 8672 is a terrific machine. Once you change any setting it will automatically save it as the new default setting when powered up.

to store new setting delete the old one which you use rarely
and then try to save new one :)

Its maybe a setting in the control panel for power save mode.
Look under power supply.
You can make a setting so the screen goes in power save mode
after an hour
You can make a setting so it not does that.

Or a setting in the bios for the display.
Look in the manual.

To get the GPRS setting please call your service provider.
They will send you the GPRS setting.After you receive please save the settings to your
phone and make it as default setting.After you save GPRS setting press and hold 0 button(zero button) you can start using internet.

just change the setting from delete to save.

From the manual... is THIS the proceedure you are using to save the settings?


T o SAVE:
1) Press the SAVE key once and a prompt displays the PLAYER’S
LOUNGE preset about to be replaced, (example prompt shown).
2) Rotate the DATA WHEEL to select a PLAYER’S LOUNGE preset to
overwrite with the currently active amp design
(last chance to press EXIT, cancelling the save).
3) Press the SAVE key a second time to complete the save.

In this case,back up your phone memory,remove sim,press *#7370# or *#7780# the phone will be reset.then save your settings for gprs.otherwise you set you setting for gprs manually.
