yes check the terminalblock usually it has horted or arched there .turn off power resplice add wire nuts tape and your good to go. let me know if this did the trick.and if it did send me a 4 thumbs up post .thanks
Water had accumulated in the sump - a plastic tray at the bottom of the dishwasher which catches any leaked water. This operates a float switch which makes the drain pump run all the time. The fix was to tilt the dishwasher backwards to drain away the water. It isn't filling up again, so I'm not sure where the water came from, but I'll keep an eye on it!
I believe there are either dip switches (or old-fashioned "jumpers" in both the button (the 'transmitter') and the dinger (the receiver). See if this is the case, and that the dip switches (or jumpers) are in the same position in both units. Then, simply switch one of the dip switches (or jumpers) to another 'position' in both the button and the dinger. There ya go...
