DISHWASHER IS CLEANED REGULARLY AND ALSO SALT AND RINSE AID MAINTAINED. BUT AM STILL GETTING A LOT OF WHITE POWDER AT THE END OF THE CICLE ON THE DISHES ETC.,
HAVE SET THE SETTINGS ON MAX AND TRIED DIFFERENT SETTINGS ALSO, USE FINISH RINSE AID AND TABLETS AND STILL EXPERIENCE SAME RESULTS. THIS HAS OCCURED FOR THE LAST MONTH.
To check on the source of the white powder (calcium?) soak some dishes in vinegar to see if this cleans them up nicely ... or if the 'white powder' is actually permanent etching. You may have very 'hard' water and will need to deal with that with a water softener or additives.
Read the following article for a better understanding and try the vinegar test . (also ensure you are using dishwasher specific salt to regenerate your integral softener... assuming you have one) http://www.dishwasher-care.org.uk/best.html

Rinse aid and salt are not necessary if you use powder that is similar to the tablets. The lights are warning you that you havent added them, you know that so ignore the lights. If you live in a hard-water (limescale) area salt can be used as well as tablets or powder to make the water kinder to the machine, but most people just use tablets without rinse-aid or salt.
check that the arms top and bottom turn freely and are not blocked.also if you use tablets, then you do not need to use rinse aid in the door, the coating could be due to over rinse aid as the tablets have this in,if these are ok you may benifit from putting a good quality cleaner through if
As for the gasket the only thing I can think of not knoweing size etc is that it more than likely goes under the salt dispenser lid. The dishes not drying (1)check the rinse aid it may be empty and (2) While you are checking the rinse aid level double check the salt levels aswell.
I had the same problem with my dishwasher. In my washer the problem was caused by a buildup of water deposits throughout the machine. I increased the temperature of the water, used three bottles of "Dishwasher Magic" and now my machine is working well. I read that the rinse aid dispensers do not disperse enough of the product for extremely hard water, the solid rinse aid dispensers work better. I know that adding a little water softener to your washer when you run it can help. If you can't find "Dishwasher Magic", you might want to try running your dishwasher with a few quarts of white vinegar to remove the deposits on the coil. You may need to clean out the deposits in your washer regularly to keep the machine working well.
