My printer hp laserjet 2420 prints only blank page and it also jam
Check for ENGINE TEST (you can learn how to do it from the internet)
if it is printing black lines, then you have a problem in your formatter board
if you print 3-4 pages (blanked), then you have a problem in HIGH TENSION
if you can not print 3-4 pages, then you have a problem in LASER SCANNER
for more , contact me at [email protected]
The laser beam is block you need to open the printer and unjammed
since every time you put a toner cartridge there is a fin that moves the cover over the laser or maybe you have a faulty cartridge that the fin is broken
Try connecting the printer via the USB port on either one of the computers. Then test if the machine prints fine then likely possibility is that the Network interface card is faulty remove the network card and install in a different slot and test. If the same thing happens then reinstall the drivers and test.
Hope this helps
Thanks J

remanufactured / compatible toner? sounds like defects to me. try OEM, or another supplier

This is usually the Transfer kit, but if the image drum or one of the power supplies goes bad, that can also give blank pages. The Drum problem for no print is usually a grounding/connection problem. Power Supplies are a complicated repair, but these printers aren't too bad to work on. You can buy good used one's fairly cheap on ebay, though. Should consider going to a later model CLJ if you replace with a used, though.

Yes you can replace the transfer roller, but check to make sure the roller is firmly seated into its holder and that the springs are contacting the metal shaft.
Good Luck
