You will need to remove the seat and the shroud to get inside your chair. Once that is done, you will see the cable coming from the motor and then plugging into the control box. Unplug the cabe and do a visual examination of the connectors. Rarely, but occasionally these will overheat and cause a bad connection.

I have a ezgo p3211 power wheelchair just put new batteries in it and lights are flashing and it won't drive.

The lights flash in a systematic sequence which reveals an VSI error code. Count the number of flashes.

1. Battery needs charging
2. Left motor bad connection
3. Left motor shorted
4. Right motor bad connection
5. Right motor shorted
6. Unplug battery charger
7. Joystick fault. Make certain the joystick is in the neutral position (centered) before turning on the controller
8. Controller fault. Check connections
9. Parking brakes bad connection. Check connections to parking brake, motor and controller
10. Excessive voltage. Check battery charger connections.

When turning on my jazzy 1113 ats the first four lights in the battery strength blink rapidly, chair wont go

4 flashing lights fault code tells you that the right motor has a bad connection. Check and make sure that the right motor is engaged and that it is plugged in properly. The code says that the wiring to the right motor or the right motor itself is bad. The fault codes aren't always right and it could be a problem in the joystick controller itself.

I am getting 4 flashing leds on the controller.Manual states this indicates right hand drive motor is disconnected. The lever for right side is engaged. Anyone know how to fix this?

My hoverround barely turns left and makes weird noises when it goes

This is almost certainly either bad motor brushes on the right motor, a bad right motor connection, or a bad right motor itself. Check the motor brushes, if the look good(good springs, no discoloring, etc.) Then you need a multimeter to check the motor connections to isolate the problem.

My quickie will only turn to the right--will not go straight--seems like the right wheel is not engaging.

Hi pedio869

I have seen this too often. Use a programmer to determine which motor has a proble, but I think it is the right one. Durable Medical Equipment Companies (DME) can send a tech out.

1. Check all connections on your right motor.
2. Check your brushes on the right motor. (need at least 1/4 inch)
3. Your brake may be bad. Your Tech can check this for you.
4. You may have a bad motor.
