All things you want to connect to a computer, need some kind of protocol to be able to talk with the computer. For that the computer needs software. For older operating systems the equipment comes with a CD. on the CD is the software you need. Also the drivers.

Newer operating systems supposed to have all drivers, but sometimes you have to install some software. The computer sees what product is connected and gives advice to install software you can get from the net.

So be aware you need software before your phone can communicate with your computer.

If your device came with a disc, insert the disc into the CD/DVD drive and install any software needed for the device. 1. check on the computer brand, version models, to acquire details with which makes possibel acquisition of an operation systems software at the retailers.
2. the computer may alread have an operating system software also known as the restore CD.
3. indentify, place the disk in diskk driver to initiate the process of restoration of an operating system.
4. the computer motherboard should be functioning as before upn completion of installatiomn
5. power on the computer there after to display the windows logo icons.

Insert the enclosed software cd into your computer.
Follow the instructions on the computer screen to install the software. If the software does not load automatically, browse the cd and open the Read Me folder for further instructions.
Connect the small end of the USB to the USB jack on the back of the unit.
Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.
On your computer open the Record Recording software.
For instructions on operating the Record Recording software, browse the software cd and open the Read Me folder.

I got that from the manual. You don't need a separate USB driver for it, mate, but you DEFINITELY need the cd...

You dont need software for your speakers, you need software for your sound card. Should already be loaded on your computer unless someone added a sound card..Go to the card manufacture for the driver..
