Since no model number was given, check to see if you have a setting commonly noted as "wrinkle guard", "wrinkle shield", "press care" or something to that affect. Those settings will run the dryer for as much as 90 min after a completed drying cycle to prevent wrinkles in clothing, allowing you time to remove the cloths after a dry cycle if you are busy. SOURCE: Kenmore Series 70 Dryer cuts off after a few minutes

The bearings in the motor have probably worn out. Disconnect the motor and take it out of the dryer. See if it turns roughly or not at all by hand. Also try and move the post left to right and up and down and see if there is play in it. It should move very little if at all in those directions and should spin freely if it's good.

SOURCE: Kenmore 90 series electric dryer blowing cold air only

1st check the breakers
2nd check wiring in back to see connections are secure.
3rd check element. It would be burned in two.
4th check thermal overload switch which is located underneath top of dryer. Easy to remove top. Probably 4-6 screws.

SOURCE: electric kenmore 90 series working but no heat?

Most likely that is the heat element. Some dryers have the element in the front but most of the time yours can be accessed from the rear.

9 yr old Kenmore 90 series dryer wont heat

is it gas ? next time open dryer door and send full model number if it heats for a while you have bad gas coils, when you change them out watch out for the coil with three prongs on it,there is a metal piece that sometime gets stuck in old coil when you remove it,if it happens just poke it out of old coil and slide it back on post where new coil will be installed

We have a Kenmore 110 6092299 90 Series dryer. The motor still runs - but no hot air, at all. I've tried timed and heat dry. Nothing. It just tumbles and it takes 4-5 rounds to dry. At first we were told...

Sounds like the heating element or the thermo-cut off. A vent being clogged for some time, can cause too much heat to build up and make the element or cut off fail. These are the 2 most common things.

Kenmore Seris 90 Front load dryer

I agree with you that the possible culprit is the thermal cut off sensor. The extreme heating could be caused by a malfunctioning thermostat or heating element.
