2005 hyundai elantra gt 2.0l ECU replacement

I don't know for sure but I think the ECU will need programming with the vin-sensitive security code(s) and possibly other information that is exclusive to your car.

The so-called flashing is used to instal software patches and fixes in service when problems are encountered. Unless you are unlucky a new or official replacement ECU should already be loaded with the latest software version, but again the dealer should be your first port of call to ask such questions and then maybe compare notes and prices with a few local specialists..

I suggest you check with the dealer and ask if the part number has been superceded, or if the unit has been modified in the last ten years.
If there are no changes to the spec, the replacement ECU should have exactly the same part number as the original.

Beeping Sound on my 03 VW Jetta

EPS is the electric power steering assist. That is different from the EPC light that is the traction control. Could be that the brake shop did not reset the system properly or they messed up a sensor.

No spark , have changed the power tr unit , one plug sparks once

Given tha age of the car could very well be a bad ECU, Engine Control Unit. Early 90's mitsubishi's had poor capacitors in the ECU and tend to leak with time causing the ECU to fail. The ECU is located between the driver passenger seats behind radio. Remove two interior pieces from tunnel between seats and look for ECU (it has three large yellow plugs going to it) There should be (3) 10MM bolts holding it in place, remove and carefully open unit, pay special attention to area under capacitors. If you see a grease like product (often times it has green tone to it) unde any of the capacitors you most likely have found the problem. Reorder a rebuilt unit, when reordering be certain to refer to the MD number on the ECU cover for proper replacement.

I hope this may have assisted you,
Tom
