Myfridge/feezer ff175b makes a clicking noise from behind light and sometimes switchs off.

It might be overheating due to bad condenser fan motor and the compressor relay turns it off.

Light keep on flicking on and off

Unplug the frig to remove power. Unscrew the bulb. Check the nub on the bottom of the bulb to make sure it is not flattened. Use needle nose pliers to grab the center tab of the bulb socket and pull outward slightly so bulb will make better connection. Could be a faulty switch or bad connection in the wiring.

Hotpoint ff175b fridge freezer

I had the same problem. Hotpoint told me it was the electronic card, and I waited 3 weeks for them to get one in stock. Just been fitted and made no difference, though the Hotpoint man told me it was fixed. I have just spent half an hour "shaking and whaking" various bits at the back of the fridge freezer and the compressor has finally kicked into life.
Concentrate your shaking and whacking on the black square thing to the left of the compressor.
Going to quit my job and become a freezer repair man.
