NO HAND SET CANT TUNE THE TV IN

I have the same problem only the volume and channel buttons are both lit up constantly when battery's are in

use the button on the actual TV itself, they will do most of what the remote will do, you have menu, left, right, up down, enter./set, ON?OFF. They WILL be there somewhere...

humm if you are talking about the remolt bulb that is strapped to the sucktion line. you can reattach at 2 oclock on pipe new bolts. if the copper line has lost refridgerant than you need a new reversing valve.

Difficulty re-tuning my sony KD28DL10U in set-up menu Auto tune is greyed out. Lost ch5 and do not have itv 3&4

Sharp TVs often require you to press the TV Tuning preset key which is a yellow function key.        
   Setting Up Your Sharp TV
Turn on your TV.

1. On your Tune In remote, press TV and release.
2. Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
3. Enter the first three-digit TV code for your Sharp from the list which follows:
   093, 165, 039
   These codes are listed in order of popularity, and the green light will blink twice if you perform this procedure correctly.
4. Aim Tune In at your TV and press Power. Your TV should turn off. If it does not, repeat steps 2-5, trying each code listed in step 4 until you find the one that operates your TV.

Now Test Your TVWhy test? Many times more than one code appears to work. Testing is desirable to be sure you have the correct code for your TV or the other devices you are setting up.

1. Press the Power key to turn on the TV, then press mute, channel scan ("CH") and volume ("VOL") keys. Tune channels 7 and 11 by entering the number followed by the Enter key.
2. If your TV does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Enter the next three-digit code and repeat the process.

Go into the setting menu on the tv and go to channel setup,then select add channel.

I have a tele C14T78 model and cant set the bright ness or contrast as i have no manual thankyou

First of all, do you still have the vcr connected to your tv, and if so see what output setting the vcr is set to. This is most likely your problem. Try the tv by itself and see if it works, if so this is your problem.

please check web site for any thing in remote. www.remotes.com and give model name in search. hopr this will help. good luck.
