I think your dishwasher is in this group. You will have to check the serial number against the range. They specifically check for cracks and holes in the detail.

Leaking around heating element posts that protrude through dishwasher body

Some dishwashers like your model number are under recall for a potential fire hazard due to water leaking through the heating element posts onto the wiring.
Your serial number must begin with the 2 letters listed . Below is the list of recall serial numbers: FL, GL, HL, LL, ML, VL, ZL, AM, DM, FM, GM, HM, LM, MM, RM, SM, TM, VM, ZM, AR, DR, FR, GR
Call the phone # below or check out GE recall website. What GE does is replace the element and gaskets, unless there is burnt or arcing visible on the wires, they may replace the dishwasher.

www.geappliances.com/products/recall
GE has determined that an electrical failure in the dishwasher's heating element can pose a fire hazard. GE will provide a free repair to all consumers with units affected by the recall. We ask that you not use your dishwasher until it is repaired and to disconnect the electric supply by shutting off the fuse or circuit breaker controlling it and inform all users of the dishwasher about the risk of fire.
Consumers who instead wish to replace their dishwasher with a new model can receive a rebate towards the purchase of certain new GE and Profile brand dishwashers. Consumers can use a rebate of $75 for the purchase of certain GE front-control plastic tub dishwashers, or a GE rebate of $100 for the purchase of certain GE front-control stainless tub dishwashers or GE Profile top control dishwashers. See the rebate form for eligible models.
GE is aware of 15 reports of dishwasher heating element failures, seven of which resulted in fire and smoke damage beyond the unit. No injuries have been reported.
The model and serial numbers are important, as not all dishwashers are included in the recall. Look at the inside on the front left side of the dishwasher tub to find the model and serial number.
This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which will also monitor the effectiveness of the recall program.
Recall Hotline
866-918-8760
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. ET.
Before calling, have the model and serial numbers on hand.

Float switch dripping water onto floor while dishwaser running

You will find that the flood switch will be operating due to the leak, it will most likely be from one of 2 places:
1. Around the door seal, Give it a clean and check for splits/damage, and make sure screws on door hinges are tight.
2. Check the rollers that screw onto the inside of the dishwasher cabinet, The screws on these can come loose and cause water to run down into the base, check they are tight.
Hopefully this helps.

Tub leaks, with a partially filled tub (2.5 inches measured from the lowest point over the pump assembly.) Promblem occured after the washer was idle for 3 weeks. Have just replaced the main water inlet...

I am assuming leaking when it is running, not sitting idle. Leaking from the door? Fill and run unit for 1 minute with no detergent. Open door. Are suds present? Suds turn into water when they drop to the floor. Suds can flow over the lip of the tub and drip to the floor. Oversudsing, Sometimes old detergent breakdown. Rinse aid dispenser leaking will cause oversudsing. Combination of all in one products will cause many problems. If suds are present after running unit a minute, pour a cup of cooking oil in unit. Run and fill it a few times until suds are gone. Possible most common cause is dispenser latch grommet.

Water vALVE DOES NOT QUITE SHUT OFF. AFTER WASH COMPLETED, water leaks slowly into tub and overflows onto floor. iT IS TYPE 1353-1. wHAT IS PART NUMBER FOR WATER VALVE? pRICE AND WHERE i CAN GET ONE? tHank...

Hello,
If you can supply the Product number or model number I would be able to help.It would not be a major expense for a new inlet valve.Check if the drain pipe from the dishwasher if going into a pipe outlet in wall that it is not too far down into pipe as this could cause it to syphon back into unit. Also if drain goes to a sink outlet make sure the drain hose is above any other outlets, you could tie hose up into a "U" shape above outlet this will stop waste from sink getting into Dishwasher.

Hope this helps.

KUDS01FLSS0 Dishwasher - tub slwoly filling with

Slow fill of water is due to the strainer clogging. Strainer is located on the body of the machine where the inlet water hose is connected.

Clean all the water flow tubes in the machine.Clean the solenoid valve opening also.

Check the levelness of the dishwash. Is it level.
Check the seal around the contact surface of the door and the washer opening. Are there any cuts or gaps?

The heating element melted through the tub causing water to run out all over the kitchen floor and ruin the floor. It is 16 months old. Is there no recourse for this. Seems to clearly be a manufacturing...

Yes, it depends on the warranty for the washer. You could also check with your home owners insurance company it probably will cover the damage done to the floor.

The rinse aid despencer is leaking

You might look into getting a new cap. It seems like part of the problem is that the threads on the cap or dispenser are damaged. This will cause the seal to not work correctly and thus leak the rinse aid.

Whirlpool dishwasher leaks

Just about all dishwashers will leak a little around the door seal over time but should not leak to the point of wetting the floor. With the door open, check in the front of the tub, under the door. Lots of gunk? Clean this area out well plus take a soft damp rag and clean the door gasket while feeling for any damage. Then go along the mating surface of the door and look for any nicks. If it leaked all the time I would suspect the door hinges have been sprung. Hope this helps, Ken

Dishwasher leaks, is there a recall on this model,mdb7100awb

if the dishwasher is leaking water there is no recall on that. the recall i believe you are talking about would be for the rinse aide leaking in the door. you should contact maytag to see about getting the new kit installed on your dishwasher and you may get your leak fixed for free since the kit comes with the door seal.
You can contact maytag at (800) 675-0535 do not wait and do not use the dishwasher. you will need the model number and serial number off your machine when you call. it is located near the door seal on the tub.
