For most questions you should supply as much information as possible, especially manufacturer & model #.
I'm sure error codes are different by manufacturer.
I found this answer for an electrolux;
Regrettably, error codes E57 and E58 could mean a number of issues, but primarily that the motor is overheating or a higher-than-usual motor current caused by other issues. Typically, an experienced technician would remove the belt to check the motor and motor pulley to ensure all is in working order first. Their next step would be to check the tub pulley and tub bearings. Last items they would examine would be the drive motor and speed control board by ohm measurement. Once the tech has ruled out a number of possibilities, he or she can pinpoint the exact problem and the necessary part to fix the issue. Since parts can often be quite costly, I would personally recommend reaching out to a qualified tech who can accurately diagnose the issue your unit is experiencing.
Hello Daniel Huntley - Typically error code E59 indicates that that washer is not detecting a tacho signal for about three seconds. Contact a professional to move forward accurately. Certified technicia will need to remove the belt from the motor, spin the motor pulley, diagnose the speed control board and etc.
