Part 2 Removing an oven keypad is easy...when you know how. ... to have a friend help you with this, but if you need to do it yourslelf, that's fine ...
You do not need the clock I removed it and wired the oven direct.The wires are easy to get at when the front panel is removed. If you look at the manuals on line they will guide you with the correct wires to use
it sounds to me that the fan is not working properly. as the oven gets older the fans become weaker and then doesn't blow air over the element at a rate that can the temp down enough..
You need to remove the whole oven from its cabinet (after switching off the electricity supply). Removing the doors first;
(see http://www.youtube.com/user/Apart4u for videos of this)
then remove the facia, which allows you access to the two restraining hooks near the top of the sides of the oven. With these slackened off (screws at the front) and pushed back, the oven can be slid out of its housing - be careful, it's heavy - onto a similar height workbench in front of the oven housing. Removing the wiring hatch (2 screws) and the rear panel (6 screws) gives access to the screw in bulb.
Hope this helps :)
