I have an Epson stylus DX7400 for some reason when I installed the printer language is in German. My disc is broken therefore I am unable to reinstall. What can I do?
You can download the installation driver and software for Epson Stylus SX100 from manufacturer's support website by clicking this link
On the page which opens, select the operating system of your computer (Windows Xp/ Vista..) from the drop-down menu. Then download the required drivers and software.
The list of available drivers will load only after selecting the operating system of the computer.

had problem with printing pdf files,removed printer and reinstalled it but no good, told to download adobe 11 version had version 9 , and it worked , installed printer on other desktop and laptop, and it worked as had version 11 on them all ok now
The chip on some of the compatible cartridges is not always reset and can show this sort of problem. Buy a chip re-setter (pretty cheap) and hopefully then they will work.
I found the right solution, at least to problem #2 on http://spazioiberico.spaces.live.com (in italian),

there was a missing Key in the Registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E979-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Copy that key from a working PC, that's all. By the way, if your problem regards a scanner o camera instaed, the missing key may be: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-810F-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}
If it's a PC, you should be able to just plug it in and windows will detect it. If not, go to Control Panel, Add Printers and then choose it from the list. If it asks for the drivers, you can download them at http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportIndex.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes
