SOURCE: Shutter button popped off & I am out of warrenty.

The fix is so easy I thought of it in my sleep. The button had fallen off our H2 while my wife was taking pictures of dolphins. And you guessed it, the button fell into the ocean. Sony sells the Shutter Button Release Assembly for $18.00 plus tax & shipping. Anyway, the fix does not require you to take apart the camera. Using a rubber jar opener you can turn the little silver ring just a little bit. Use your finger nail and lift it off. Look for the little plastic piece that broke and also the little snap ring. On the underside of the ring that you removed, you'll notice two little feet. When putting the new assembly back together, line up those feet with the two slots, pressing down and turning the ring just slightly should hold it in place. Cranky...

it can be possible to select reset icon by selecting menu option.
it is not possible to take this type of pictures because at auto flash mode the subject can't be covered witin flash range .therefore picture may underexposed however the forground within flash range may correctly exposed. If we do all this at flash off mode the motion of subject will appear  as blurred due to slow shutter speed.

It is a bad ccd it need to be replaced some time you can get lucky by resetting the camera in the setup menu. When you take a picture the image is transmitted throught the ccd and translates the image to the cameras5.gif memory5.gif. It can be fixed. Or you can upgraded. Some places might offer a trade in value on your camera even if it is broke. end of Quote: i hade the same problem this guy knows the way of the lcd's

SOURCE: Sony DSC-H5 Cybershot write protection

Camera has a "protection" option for the pictures. maybe it;s active. Put camera on "playback" mode and check the available menus. Also, I guess your camera came with a manual. Read it!

My photosmart will not print a picture. It printed 3 (all from the same source) then it says "cannot display this photo" for the 6 others (from another source) I checked, files are all JPG (all 9)

Maybe the pictures are too high a resolution. Meaning they are too big for the printer to capture in it's internal memory. Try resaving the picture smaller and try a re-print. Cameras today take picture in high definition but printers don't usually get sold with a lot of memory. The computer can usually spool up the pictures but again asking the printer to capture and resize the picture1 (800) 448-6262 is usually asking a lot from a printer. Just try resizing a picture to a smaller format then try and print it.

Instructions manuals

pictures should already be loaded to SD card... if not, you probably need to format SD card and then try again. I've had issues with SD cards going from laptop to Tab 3 but my pics taken with my camera always load to SD card. Now pictures I have downloaded from the internet I can open up in my Gallery, tap the picture and then hit settings and move to SD card

I have a 32gb memory card that when put on my laptop says no pictures are there and when you put it back in the camera it says no pics on card but when you go to see how much gig is left there is 3 gig of...

what format is the sd card in ? most common is the sd card its self I have had loads that have just packed in and just keep asking for it to be re formatted. also some cameras will take the card and load pic's onto it but its in the wrong format as the cad is in exfat file and not in fat32. some laptops don't read exfat and you need to update so it can read it.

Camera shoes white display

Possible that the LCD is faulty or the main optical sensor - the CCD- is faulty.
Now check if the older pics or the loaded pics on the SD card are seen well on the LCD display. If so the LCD is good and the fault might be the CCD.
If not check the present pictures taken which are downloaded to the PC and is seen to be perfect. If not the CCD is fault which means that the pictures taken are totally white.
Get estimate from Kodak service before you open the set.

Says card full

Hi Mickcommodor,
It depends on what resolution the snaps are taken at.. generally cameras have setting that can be set to take pictures at lower resolution (requires loss space) or medium or higher resolution (takes more space on the card).
Also, I would suggest you to transfer all the pics on the card to the computer and then try formatting the memory card and then try again .. Let me know if that helps.
If both the above suggestions do not work for you then please let me know what is the capacity of the memory card and were you using this memory with the same camera earlier?

Regards,
Srinivas

I want to show the date on every frame as i down load and print without a complecated procedure, [the camera is for daily photo diary]

I don't know if you want to display the date on the image or if you Fuji can even do that but there are multiple programs that will rename the image file so that the file name is the date and time the picture was taken. Additionally many programs, including Vista, will organize your photos by date taken.

Pictures not downloading

What do you actually see? There is normally a folder displayed and you might have to click on it & some sub folders to get to your pics. Look at the folder via Explore - Right mouse select the start button, the select Explore. You should see the camera's drive towards the bottom of the directory structure. Hope it helps. Rgds,
